This will mark the club’s first meeting of the year with our new VP Kurt, and new club President Ty! Please plan on attending to give them some troub— er, congratulate them and welcome them in to office.

If you have yet to pay your dues for this year, now would be a great time to pay up. Individual memberships are $20; couples memberships are $25. Be sure to stop by wherever Sveta is stationed to give her your money and information.

As you may be aware, this year’s National Homebrewer’s Conference sold out incredibly quickly, and many are left on the waiting list. If you are an AHA member that didn’t make registration and would like to sign up for the waiting list, you can do so by clicking here.

AHA Conference registration is limited to American Homebrewers Association members. Each AHA member may register one guest. Registration ends March 31, 2012, or earlier if an event reaches capacity (which it appears will be soon). You can register online at  http://www.ahaconference.org/.

It’s that time of year again – time for our annual holiday party! This shindig will once again be graciously hosted by John and Linda Heitz this Saturday, January 14 starting at 6:00pm. A map of their address is found HERE.

The homebrew club will be providing some food, including meat/main entree, as well as some suds. Please bring a side dish and some homebrew for all to share. Also, please be courteous to the neighbors regarding parking (only street parking will be available) and show respect to the home of our hosts.

During the meeting, we will also be holding the official election of new officers: club President (1 year term) and Vice President (2 year term).

*NOTE*: This will count as our official club meeting for the month of January. There will NOT be a third-Thursday meeting at IHB this month.
